Effective 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains how Clearbridge (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through the Clearbridge AI Readiness Index (“CARI”). We aim to collect only what we need to provide the assessment and its results.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, work email, job role, and a securely hashed password.
  • Assessment responses: the answers you provide and the scores and profile derived from them.
  • Limited technical data: information such as IP address used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
We do not ask for sensitive financial information, government identifiers, or special categories of data, and you should not submit them.

3. How we use information

We use your information to create and secure your account, generate your results and recommendations, prepare aggregated leadership reporting for invited company assessments, communicate with you about the Service, and protect against misuse. For public (individual) signups, your details may be used by Clearbridge to follow up about relevant services.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process personal information with your consent (which you provide when you accept these terms and submit the assessment) and as necessary to provide a service you have requested. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account or contacting us, subject to limited retention described below.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, email delivery and hosting) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. For company assessments, your responses contribute to reporting available to the sponsoring organization and to Clearbridge advisors supporting it.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.

7. Your choices and rights

Individual account holders can delete their account and associated assessment data directly from the dashboard. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Participants in a company assessment who wish to be removed should contact their Clearbridge advisor.

8. Security

We protect information with measures including password hashing, encrypted transport, access controls, rate limiting, and CAPTCHA challenges where appropriate. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by service providers located outside Canada. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an appropriate level of protection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, and the effective date above will be updated.

11. Contact
